1. General Warranty Coverage
All products sold by Capital Ottawa Furniture & Mattress come with a manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty period may vary depending on the item and the manufacturer. Please refer to the product-specific information for warranty details.
The warranty typically covers:
- Defects in materials or workmanship.
- Faults occurring under normal use conditions.
- CAPITAL FURNITURE AND MATTRESS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOMER INSTALLATIOND
2. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents.
- Modifications or repairs not conducted by authorized professionals.
- Stains, discoloration, or fabric damage due to improper cleaning.
- CUSTOMER INSTALLATION. PLEASE CONSIDER USING OUR INHOUSE PROFESSIONAL INSTALLERS.
Mattresses and custom-made furniture items are non-refundable but may be repaired or replaced if found defective upon delivery.
3. Warranty Claims
If you experience a problem with your product that you believe is covered under the warranty, please follow these steps:

4. Mattress Warranty
Most mattresses sold by Capital Ottawa Furniture & Mattress are covered under a 10 to 12-year warranty depending on the brand. This warranty covers issues such as:
- Visible indentations greater than 1.5 inches not caused by improper support.
- Manufacturing defects in the mattress or foundation.
Mattress warranties typically do not cover:
- Normal increase in softness or change in comfort preference.
- Damage from using an improper foundation, bed frame, or adjustable bed base.
5. Repair and Replacement
If a defect is covered under the warranty, we will:
- Repair the item at no cost, or
- Replace the defective product with the same or a similar item of equal value.
If the product is no longer available, we will offer a comparable replacement or issue a credit toward another purchase.
6. Extended Warranties
Some products may be eligible for extended warranties provided by the manufacturer. Please inquire about extended warranty options when purchasing your furniture.
7. Responsibility of the Customer
